 Firing Wall

Cześć Rodzino!
Okay sorry again no pics, I am in an internet cafe and will try to send some after this email or next week! We are emailing later and at a different place because we just got back from Austwichiz. Wow! was that humbling. We only had time to see one of the camp, but we will go back in a couple weeks and see the second one. Really I can't really explain the experience. It really was I guess you could say awesome, but sad at the same time, but really was worth it. So sad to stand where people who died and stand and where awful people walked. They had a fireing wall and yeah I about lost it. Makes you really apprieciate life and how lucky we are to be in America. But  back to my week.  On Monday for pday we watched the movie 17 miracles. You all seen it? wow it's powerful. Really lot of you are not active mormons are really never were baptized, but that history is why you are in Utah. Why we are family or even friends. It was so amazing. What they went through leaving all they had because they believed in a little book. Just tells you how powerful that book is huh? I have a true testimony of that book it has a name, The Book of Mormon and it gave us our name. We all are truly blessed for it. I encourag you all to watch it. Tuesday we had our exchange with the zone leaders because zone leaders go with Districk leaders like i did when i was a ZL, i was with elder Caskey. And funny enough he was my first exchange when i was a zl and i was his first so thats cool. But he is a stud missionary. We sat down and planned i looked at him and said over 14 months ago a missionary named Elder Mikolyski just being in sosnowiec went to kato to be a zl like you and he found what turned out to be a baptism and a miracle and a huge blessing for all who watched it happen, he found daria. are you ready to do that. He chuckled and goes well he was an amazing missionary. I laughed and said so are you, he goes cool lets do it. first person he talks to teaches a lesson, gives a book we get HER number and later in the week i call and set up a meeting it was cooll. Bam miracle number one that day. Number 2 we were contaciting and talking about the area and i told him how i want to get the brothers activated. and he goes lets go to their house. we do not home but the mom lets us in. we talk and she is so sweet made a good impression on her so now we have texting contact with them. also patryk came to church, so thats one couple to go. and then the 3rd and final was at 840 its cold and we are almost home but we decieded to stay out till 9. at 955 we finally see someone and Caskey goes well lord blesses last second contacts. He stopped listened and took a book. Really was a humbling day. In the church we get callings that we think we cant do. Me being an old missionary, really annoying to say, but caskey being younger came into my area and taught me something new. thats life the lord qualifies who he calls. it was great. also my district meeting was about sports and tying it into missionary work and it worked it was the funnest one to teach, side note found out how to send pics! but will send them after still. Thursday had a good meeting with a less active who i was working with a year ago. he is a quiet guy but still really cool it was a fun lesson on missionary work. Then the miracle of all. We have this guy we have been meeting with who is always drunk, but promies not to be last time we met i went a little harris on him , kinda threw out some false docterine telling him that God doesnt listen when your drunk and yeah not true but luckly it made him pay attention, this is my ask for repentance. But i didnt want to be meeting with him but when he has the cutest little old mom in the world who looks like my beloved grandma rugg i cant leave her with him. everyone in her family has passed on and all her kids as well, he is all she has and he is a a little worthless right now, had an accident 4 months ago and every day since has been drunk. but elder anderson and i make him promise to not be drunk. we return the next day and its a new person not drunk can tell he is hung over and going through with drawls but he wasnt drunk, agree to live with the word of wisdom and called him sunday and didnt drink all weekend. what a blessing. i can see the gospel change his life. so that was a blessing. its such a blessing to see how strong a mothers love is. She is a saint of a women and love teaching them, and its amazing to see on this mission how much people change. i feel like i havent really but just gotten better i dont know how to put it but really this country is special and this mission means the world to me. I am lucky i have the best family in the world and the best mission. Hands down sorry to say it but its true. the church is true i love it i love you all. will send more pics but have a good week!

Cześć Rodzino

This week felt a little longer then what I was used to, but still a great week here in Polish Zion. It was my first full week in the new area, and it's been easy to get used to it since I was already in the branch and since I have been on a million exchanges with Bokinsky here and with Vernon. We are in the finding stages which thats how it was last transfer, and really my whole mission. This mission is really cool because we get what i like to call two on one time. Me and the lord vs the world of course got my compaion. But when your contacitng 8 hours a day you really start to feel doubts and really it gets hard but luckly we can pray and understand that its worth it. I Have seen the lords hand in this work not only in the miracles like Robert in Bydgoszcz or Łukasz in Gdańsk. But Sometimes its something funny. For example we have the funniest man in Poland as a member her in Katowice. His name is Paweł which translates to Paul. He had a sickness when he was little which made it so his voice is still as high as a kite. But he is so cool and yeah a good member. But he likes studing with J DUBS because he loves talking and they listen but is al ittle stubborn on both ends wont progress in their church becasuse he knows ours is true but wont stop meeting with them because its fun he says. But he taught FHE on monday and lets just say it was so funny. He was explaining how we need to lord to hold us up. comparing us to a cup and the lord to his hand. We all didnt really get it but continuted to listen he then drops the cup but doesnt break. He goes red grabs another and and is about to throw it and we are like wow dude stop! and he is like i am going to and we are like stop and Elder Anderson is like do it! and well sure enough throws it on the ground to prove his point that the lord is our hand. But you have to picture this in a high pictched voice. so funny. But then on Tuesday we went to Kraków and had zone training. It was so good but the best part is i go into the chapel and i get this big ol greeting from Elders Raines and Żeleźniak. Those two are studs. Its crazy thinking that we are the old missionaries now. But yeah that was a little tender mercy to have them do that. Its always good talking to them because we are similar and yeah they will be my good friends for life. To bad that Żeleźniak lives in Austraillia. NOthing to much wednesday talk to some really nice people and it was a peaceful day. Thursday was cool we are at the Urząd for Elder Andersons legal work and the sisters are there too and in Poland your land lord helps you do it, and theirs is a women who was an investigator but comes to all the activities but church. She sees me and looks at me and goes...MIKOŁYSKI?? I laugh and go no that was my companion. But she goes oh i thought you looked familiar. So yeah lot more people remember me in the city then i thought. Then Friday. what a hard day. but still not enough to wine but it was long and no one really listend and it was one of those days where i wasnt to happy, so that didnt help. Saturday we went and had pizza with Adrain ( Yes Tim be jealous) but it was cool. Love being aroudn him he is a stud, but really short i noticed so everyone hold on to your phones or laptaps i think i am getting taller. not sure but you all can jusdge this summer...ouch yeah lets not think about that right now. But the coolest thing happend on saturday night. We decieded to do a fast as a district. for the less actives in our branch. I have the oppurtunity to work with the Brothers. they are gyspsys and are way cool but are way less active right now. when i was first here they were coming i even went to one of thier weddings. but now they are not doing so good. like the last missionaries had no contacit with them. so i feel impressed to text the oldest one and say hey not sure if you remember me but i was here a year ago and yeah he calls me and was like whats up harris you here on exhange? i told him all transfers and he was excited. said he would be in church so we can set up a meeting ( didnt come ) but still was coolt o talk with him and have him remember me. Makes me think about the savior and how sometimes we feel as if he has forgotten us but realy he hasnt, he is always aware and loves us. I am so blessed and love you all and love this work. be safe you all remember who you are, he is ready to talk to you when you are.

Dear Family,
Crazy crazy week. Am not a big fan of trains so it was lame having to get on one this week. I can start the week off going in order. But first want to say sorry but forgot my camera cord so no pictures this week, so sorry! But will send a bunch next week. So to start off the week, was invited to dinner at President Edgrens house for Elder Tiners last night. He is going home alone so president aloud him to invite missionaries to dinner, so he picked me. Side note, Elder Tiner my entire mission has really been a mission that i knew about, and looked up to. Elder Myler czyli Married man Darek Myler always talked good about him, and told me we would get a long. come to find out that tiner is an athletic little man, who is a spiritual giant. He is honestly the nicer half of me, i am sure we were twins in the pre earth life, but dont quote me on that. But never really got to serve with him or really around him unitl, my last transfer as zone leader. He opened up a new area right by mine and we started doing white boards playing basketball on pdays together and really just seeing who can say the dumbest thing in polish to people, of course being appropriate. And we had fun. His example really has affected me my entire mission, and finally got to serve around him. Last transfer i left to warsaw 2 and he stayed but still played ball and talked. That elder really did change my life so any girl looking to get married who is ready this...His name is Austin Lawrence Tiner. Look him up on Facebook. He is 5 foot 8 and goes to BYU. Just sayin. But yeah so dinner was really good, spiritual. and boy did it hit me how fast time flys. I got home in less then 6 months....Strzelaj mnie! He will do good at home though. Then on Tuesday we had a full day. A couple members wanted to say goodbye so that night we went and said bye and it was sad. I was only there for 2 months, but hey the gospel is true. It was the hardest saying bye to Oskar though. He came over to the chapel to say bye. I was blessed to have stayed in warsaw but now i cant meet with him. He will always stay strong though and is a testimony builder that there are some young peole in this country ready for the gospel. also since wednesday was Elder Hubbards Bday, we went to a restaruant called Jeffs. Second best ribs in the world besides yours dad. but only 13 dollars for a plate with corn on the cob, cole slaw, and fries. So that was fun. Then wednesday so since i am talking about wednesday i can say happy birthday Aja Baby! but it was leaving day. It hit me again i say good bye to Elder Jesperson and Stumpf who are heading to Lublin, well see you jespersen in 6 months maybe and stumpf talk to you on facebook. we are all in different zones so not sure if i will see some of these missionaries again. But then Elder Allen got off the train and was able to see him so that was cool to see him again. Got a "family Pic" then said bye to HUbba bubba. That was hard. Got really close with him, so it was hard to i guess say good bye it was one of those Dumb and Dumber moments. I hate good byes. but he will do good. Then off to Sosnowiec. This is the city where i would wear my raider stuff and fit in. its the ghetto of Poland. Its crazy how different Katowice has changed since i was hear a year ago. Sosnowiec is where i live, but the branch is in Katowice fyi. But i was so excited to be here. I am with Elder Anderson who i already knew a little becasue he was in my district 2 transfers ago and we went on an exchange. so i am really excited. On satruday the Zone Leaders Elder Lanham and Caskey had a baptize of a lady named Sylwia. I guess she was found by Sister Packard and her companion a little under a year ago and has been in church every sunday and everything that a member would do, but was willing to get baptized. Called Elder Lanaham and she was like i am ready, will you baptize me. So boom, miracle. So that was really cool. I was so excited to see Adrian and talk to him in Polish, truley the gift of tongues is real, all spritiual gifts are real. Sunday i was able to talk to the members and they remembered me. Gosia a member here was impressed on how much i speak becasue a eyar ago i spoke only english to her, she was one of my favoirtes in this branch but is moving to isreal for work. But i honeslty feel so blessed to be here. Me and Elder Anderson had a sit down lesson in someones hosue on thursday and the spirit was strong, we taught good togehter. His name is Robert pray for him. he is waiting on an answer from God. then this morning with a guy named Marcin who isnt interested anymore but the spirit was there and waws talking to him, he chose not to listen but it spoke to me saying that what i said is true. I am grateful for this country. I have really found myselft here, really understand me. I love this gospel and this country l love you all. Be safe the church is true. Would love to hear from more of you. but anyways love you all, got to go elder anderson has been teaching me how to play ukalele.

Dear Family,
Wow time flys...dont really know what to do with myself. This transfer straight up flew! Well i am getting transfered out of Warsaw. I made it out a live. but I am heading back to an old city, I am going to Katowice, but this time i will be in the DL apartment so i will be in a city just outside of it called Sosnowiec. I will be with Elder Anderson who was up here in warsaw when i was with Stumpf. We went on exchange and it should be fun, i am way excited. He is a stud and works really hard, and he will be my size, or shorter for the first time in my mission. Dang never thought that would happen. But yes i am sad to leave my little hubba bubba but he will do good...funny thing is Elder Allen is coming to be his comp. Haha both my little boys in one apartment. Cool huh? But anyways this week was really good like usual. Monday through Wednesday i was on exchange with Elder Blom, and we spent the new year together playing risk. never played it before but i learned in Polish and its actually really really fun. But nothing to great went down we found a really cool guy named Piotr, we talked and really the duch czyli spirit hit him and he accepted a book and exchanged numbers. I feel like this entire transfer has been just planting seeds but none the less rewarding. I love talking to people its the best when they allow me to teach them. Saturday was a good one though. We had a baptizem in warsaw 1 so we got to go again. Elder Stumpf and Brown taught him. His name is stanislaw. But the coolest thing was on saturday i got a call from Sławek in our branch the one who we played rugby with and his son is getting really into rugby and has been asking to play again. also he is not baptized and has been asking those kinda questions. so we got permission to teach him. to bad i wont be here but elder allen and hubbard will get it done! But sunday was a good sunday didnt think it would be my last one but hey it happens. Prezydent did our calls that night and we talked and he told me that sister Edgren is upset that he is transfering me out of warsaw...no more cookies :( but i am so blessed to have a mission mom and prezydent like i do. Really this work is going foreward. I am low on time but i love you all, have a great new year create goals and achieve them. I love you and the lord loves you all!
